Gemma Collis

Managing Director

Hello, my name is Gemma Collis and I live locally to Muddy Monkies.
I have been married for 8 years to my husband Alex and have two children aged 13 and 9.

I have worked in childcare for the past 6 years working in Nurseries and a Forest School.
I have previously been a deputy manager within a nursery in which I gained much experience.
I am very passionate about the Forest School ethos and the progress in which children develop.

My qualifications are:
- Level 3 Forest School Leader
- Level 4 Advanced Practitioner with Early Years
- Level 3 Diploma for the children and young peoples workforce.
- Level 2 safeguarding
- Food Hygiene
- Paedeatric First Aid and many more.

I am curently working towards my Level 5 Foundation Degree in Child Care.

Managing Director

Hello, my name is Daniela and I'm a German wife to a British soldier and have three children.
I have been in the childcare industry for 17 years on and off.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family either kayaking, hiking or camping.
Growing up in Germany has given me so many outdoor opportunities and therefore childrens outdoor learning is my priority in life.

My qualifications are:
- Level 3 Forest School Leader
- Level 4 Advanced Practitioner with Early Years
- Level 3 Diploma for the children and young peoples workforce.
- Level 3 safeguarding
- Food hygiene
- First Aid and many more.

I am currently working towards my Level 3 Leadership and Management.

Deputy Manager

Hello, I’m Caroline Anderson, Mum to four grown up children and Grannie to two! I have lived just outside Blandford for over twenty years and love the Dorset countryside. I taught for twenty five years and am now thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to be part of such a thriving and happy Forest School. In my spare time I enjoy crafting in fabric and wood, I play in a folk band and like to garden and cook.

My Qualifications are:
- B.Ed(Hons) in Home Economics
- Food Hygiene
- Outdoor Forest School First Aid
- Paedeatric First Aid
- Safeguarding Level 3
